LOS ANGELES – The first two games of the 2024 World Series have been thrilling with the Los Angeles Dodgers up 2-0 against the New York Yankees. In Game 1, the Dodgers barely scraped off a win against the Yankees 4-3 in extra innings after a walk-off home run in the 10th by Freddie Freeman. The walk off grand slam by Freeman is the only walk off grand slam to ever be hit in a World Series game. In Game 2, the Dodgers got a huge performance out of their pitching. Yoshinobu Yamamoto controlled New York’s lineup and gave L.A. a 4-2 victory. Clutch moments and the powerhouse offense have helped the Dodgers find success, as they look to extend their lead at home.
