Good Morning, JCS!
Yearbook Picture Day is this Friday, August 29. Students must wear their school uniforms for their picture but may change back into spirit attire afterwards.
Seniors, if you signed up for your formal portrait during picture day, please be aware of your appointment time.
Yearbooks are now on sale at Yearbook Forever.com for the Fall price of $65. The price increases at the end of the quarter, so be sure to order early to lock in the best price of the year.
Safety Drills will be conducted on campus at regular intervals. Students should be aware of all procedures, follow teacher instructions, and remain quiet as the drills are being conducted. Look for our next drill happening VERY soon!
High School Curriculum Night is this Thursday, August 28 at 5:30. Parents are encouraged to attend to get a preview of life at JCS.
Reminder: Student ID Lanyards must be worn around the neck at all times. Teachers, please be watching for this and send any student without a lanyard to Student Services for a new one. Students, there is a $10 charge to replace your ID so DON’T LOSE IT!

Our Student of the Day is Jacob Miller! Jacob is not only an excellent student who consistently earns great grades, but he’s also someone who treats others with kindness and respect every single day. He’s caring, dependable, and a great example for all of us here at school. Congrats, Jacob!
Our Teacher of the Day is Mr. Proctor! He’s always introducing us to new things in class and finding ways to make learning exciting and fun. His energy and creativity make a big difference, and we’re grateful for all the time he puts into helping us grow. He is also an amazing coach. Thanks, Mr. Proctor!
Have a great day, JCS!
