Throughout Anthony’s life, he has been surrounded by athletics. He has played sports from the age of 4 to the present. These sports include baseball, football, wrestling, cross country, and track and field. He has been a part of the wrestling team since 7th grade when the team was first brought back, and he enjoyed seeing the major improvements throughout the years. Outside of school, Anthony enjoys fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends. Throughout his life, he has traveled to many places but one stands out to be his favorite. He loves taking trips to Indiana where his family lives. Anthony says that he has made countless memories there and loves the tradition of going shooting with his uncle. Family is a very important factor in Anthony’s life, and also his pets. He has two dogs, one boy named Buddy and one girl named Ruth. Another important factor of his life is the tradition of watching numerous sports throughout the year. Anthony loves college football season while he gets to cheer on FSU.
Above all, faith is very important to Anthony’s life growing up. He grew up in a Christian household surrounded by faith. A Bible verse that is very important to him is 2 Timothy 4:7. It states, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” The reason this verse is so important to Anthony is because it ties into his life and with wrestling. His past coach who he’s grown very close with introduced that verse to Anthony years ago. It pushes him to overcome the challenges that are put in his way with the help of God through his faith.
