JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – For JCS sophomore Jordyn Besse, life is all about balance, both on and off the gymnastics floor. A member of the Class of 2029, Jordyn has spent almost her whole life perfecting her craft. Starting gymnastics at just two years old, she has worked her way to becoming a Junior Olympian, a title that reflects years of dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport.
Born in Boca Raton and raised in West Palm Beach, Jordyn has always called Florida home. Still, she enjoys traveling to New Hampshire to visit her family. At home, she can usually be found with her pitbull. While gymnastics takes up most of her free time, Jordyn also volunteers at Big Dog Ranch, showing her heart for helping animals in need.
Jordyn doesn’t just enjoy competing in gymnastics, she loves watching it, too. She’s especially a fan of the Florida Gators gymnastics team, drawing inspiration from their energy and talent. Her faith is also a guiding force in her everyday life, with Psalm 34:8 serving as a reminder to trust God in everything she does.
Looking ahead, Jordyn isn’t set on a specific career path yet, but she knows she wants to attend college and continue chasing new opportunities. For now, she’s focused on living a healthy, meaningful life while enjoying every moment in and out of the gym. With the yearbook theme “Lights, Camera, Action!” in mind, Jordyn’s story shows that she’s already living out a highlight reel worth celebrating.
