Do you love to make videos and want to get your voice out there? Join “The Beak TV!” This new advisory group will allow any student to publish school appropriate video content on “The Beak,” and possibly JCS Socials and even “The Morning Show.” We are looking for interviews, entertaining clips, and even educational content. There is a spot on each Canvas class page to submit content for consideration. You DO NOT have to be a part of the advisory group to submit content. Please see Mr. Fields if you have any questions.
Family Worship Night will be happening this Friday, October 24. Join us for a family-friendly worship night filled with uplifting music and community! Stick around afterward for free food truck treats and bounce houses for the kids.
Our Quarter 2 Love Your Neighbor Service Project is Operation Christmas Child. We are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoe boxes with presents for children. Collections begin today and run through November 7. Please place your donations in the appropriate bins throughout the school.
There will be a DECA BBQ fundraiser this Saturday, October 25 featuring Sons of Barbeque. Mark your calendars and come out for some delicious food and great fellowship.
Pep Band will be meeting tomorrow after school until 4pm in the band room. Join us as we get ready to play for a basketball game.
National Honor Society will be offering peer tutoring from 3:15-4:00 in room 203. Contact Clayton Pinera if you have any questions.

Today we’re celebrating Gabe Gani as Student of the Day. Gabe is a powerhouse of strength and heart! Gabe brings serious energy to football practice, always pushing himself and his teammates to be better. But what truly sets him apart is his Christ-like attitude, which shines through in everything he does at JCS. His courage, dedication, and uplifting spirit make a lasting impact on our school community. Way to go, Gabe!
Our Employee of the Day is Mr. Dickens! Mr. Dickens is the heartbeat of JCS! As our dedicated dean, he works tirelessly to ensure students feel supported and the school runs smoothly. After hours, he shifts into coach mode, pouring his energy into building a winning football team. His leadership, compassion, and commitment to excellence make JCS a better place every single day.
