Good Morning JCS!
Today is chapel and advisory day, don’t forget to head to advisory right after Period B. Some students will be changing advisory groups, so make sure you are aware of your new group and location.
There will be a meeting today during PRT in room 24 for all Juniors interested in helping plan this year’s prom.
Students with perfect attendance for the first quarter will receive a donut on Friday, 10/24. There is a list of names posted outside of student services. Congratulations on being here every day!
Students, invite your fathers to join us for the Dad’s Bible study. This will take place at 6:30 AM tomorrow in room 106.
Do you love to make videos and want to get your voice out there? Join “The Beak TV!” This new advisory group will allow any student to publish school appropriate video content on “The Beak,” and possibly JCS Socials and even “The Morning Show.” We are looking for interviews, entertaining clips, and even educational content. There is a spot on each Canvas class page to submit content for consideration. You DO NOT have to be a part of the advisory group to submit content. Please see Mr. Fields if you have any questions.
Our Quarter 2 Love Your Neighbor Service Project is Operation Christmas Child. We are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoe boxes with presents for children. Collections begin today and run through November 7. Please place your donations in the appropriate bins throughout the school.
Juniors will take the PSAT on Friday. It will be in the main gymnasium. It will start at 8:00am and end at 12:00pm.
