Students, if you are looking for community service opportunities, the Els Center for Autism is looking for help! You can get involved by leading afternoon activities like golf, tennis, fitness, dance, yoga, art, and so much more. Please reach out to Guidance for more information!
The Athletics Department is building an Alumni Lettermen’s Club and needs student volunteer help for community service hours. This will involve collecting alumni contact information and doing research in previous year’s yearbooks. Please contact Mr. Nord or Perry Morris for further details.
Pack-A-shoebox – It’s all about Jesus’ and those in need. Operation Christmas Child collections are continuing until November 7. Please bring in your gift items and place them in the appropriate bins outside the High School Office.
Peer tutoring is each Wednesday from 3:15-4:00 in room 203. Please contact Clayton Pinera if you have any questions.
The Deadline for ordering a Senior Ad is this Friday, October 31. All ads ordered by that time will be published – even if we have to expand the yearbook. After Friday sales will close unless space is still available. Seniors and their parents should check their emails from Mr. Fields for more information.
The Yearbook Senior Bio Survey has now been distributed. If you did not receive a copy, please see Mr. Fields. The Survey is due on Wednesday. Please return it to Mr. Fields or the yearbook staff member who gave it to you.
This Wednesday is College T-Shirt Day – a day to celebrate the hard work of our Seniors who have been submitting their college applications! Students are welcome to wear a shirt representing their favorite college or trade.
Invite kids and families you know in our community this Thursday, October 30 to our annual Trunk or Treat in the JCS Parking lot from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. We hope to see many people there.
Reach Week registration opens via the Eagle Weekly at 7:00pm this Wednesday. The Active Network Registration Link will be provided in the Eagle Weekly and on Canvas Announcements. First-come, first-served.

There are no athletic competitions today We will see our eagles back in action tomorrow.

Our Student of the Day is Christian Ganzi he is such a good influence on our school and his motivation is great . You’re a joy to have at this school keep up the good work, Christian!
Our Teacher of the Day is Ms. Winslow. She is a fantastic Spanish teacher who makes learning the language both fun and accessible. She has a gift for explaining complex grammar concepts in a way that is easy to understand, and her lessons are always interactive and engaging.
