CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Since its birth on April 1, 1992, the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association has found its way into the hearts of motorsports enthusiasts. Although the USLMRA was started as a joke, its large fan base and expansion across states has made it into a genuine sport that anyone can participate in.

Anyone older than eight years old can participate in races with parental permission, children have their own league for extra safety. The USLMRA is divided into five classes – the JP class (kids ages 8-17), the Stock class (no modifications), IMOW class (front engine electric), Prepared class (modified drivetrain, engine, or more), and the FX class (any major modifications).

The USLMRA is open to everyone and can be joined or watched easily. The USLMRA is still growing in reputation and number of of participants but that does not stop it from being an exciting experience for all.
