JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Junior Ella Brodner from Jupiter Christian is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team and is committed to play volleyball at The University of Virginia.
Ella has been playing volleyball since she was seven years old and this is her fourth year as a part of the Varsity team at Jupiter Christian. When Ella was asked about how the coach has prepared this team she answered, “She definitely has been pushing us really hard this year.” Ella is very confident in this year’s team and thinks that they have been playing good so far.
Ella stated, “It’s a fairly new team, so we have been gelling these past few games together, but I’m really confident that we are going to have a winning record this year.” The volleyball team is currently 2-0 in their season and are feeling confident for the upcoming games.
When Ella was asked about her goals for this season she said, “Our goal is to win the regional finals and make it to the final four in states.” Ella shared that some of the toughest teams that the Eagles will take on this year will be The King’s Academy and Boca Christian. Ella said, “They have really solid players and are all around good teams.”
Ella is a very supportive teammate and says that she loves all of her teammates equally. When Ella was asked about what her favorite memory of being on Jupiter Christian’s Varsity team was, she answered, “The bus rides back from the games in my 8th grade year with all the seniors.” Ella’s favorite part about school volleyball is becoming best friends with all of her teammates and playing in front of all the fans. Overall, Ella is very positive about this team and is excited to have a great season this year!
