JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Studies say that eating dark chocolate will lower your chances of getting type 2 diabetes. The recommended amount is about five tiny servings of dark chocolate. But dark chocolate is the one that works. On the other hand, milk chocolate will not. It will just give you weight gain and over the time you eat it, eventually it will lead to type 2 diabetes. Dark chocolate has cacao in it which contains very high levels of flavanols which studies say might be the reasons why it would help. Researchers found that people at risk that ate the chocolate lowered their risks. People that did not eat chocolate were at greater risk. So the next piece of chocolate you grab should be dark chocolate.
