JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – On April 17, the high school student body gathered for a great Easter chapel full of worship, contemplation, and a sense of community that could be felt. What made the chapel especially unique, though, was the worship team, a truly amazing group of students from all four high school grade levels, supported by several gifted 8th graders.
The service started with warmth, and the festive spirit was set. The worship team, comprised of students, blended modern praise songs with Easter hymns, and a beautiful picture of unity was created. It was inspiring to see students from different ages encouraging each other and leading the school in heartfelt worship. Spiritual Life Prefect Noah Brown shared, “It was wonderful to see so many students of all ages unite for one purpose, celebrating the Resurrection of Christ. The energy and the passion were simply amazing.”
For the 8th graders, worshiping in the high school chapel gave them a glimpse of things to come spiritually. Their energy breathed new life into the worship set, reminding all of the new hope Easter brings. As Sophomore Jack Kolea concluded, “I enjoyed that the 8th graders were also there. The entire chapel felt like a big family, and it got me more excited for next year.”
