Good Morning, JCS!
The Deadline for ordering a Senior Ad is this Friday, October 31. All ads ordered by that time will be published – even if we have to expand the yearbook. After Friday sales will close unless space is still available. Seniors and their parents should check their emails from Mr. Fields for more information.
The Yearbook Senior Bio Survey has now been distributed. If you did not receive a copy, please see Mr. Fields. The Survey is due on Wednesday. Please return it to Mr. Fields or the yearbook staff member who gave it to you.
Be prepared and alert! A fire drill is scheduled for later today. Students are reminded to remain quiet as they exit the building and then line up on the field in an orderly fashion.
This Wednesday is College T-Shirt Day – a day to celebrate the hard work of our Seniors who have been submitting their college applications! Students are welcome to wear a shirt representing their favorite college or trade.
This Thursday, October 30 we will be having our annual Trunk or Treat in the JCS Parking lot from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This event is being sponsored by the National Honor Society, National Arts Honor Society, Student Government Association and Florida Future Educators of America! We hope to see many people there.
Reach Week registration opens via the Eagle Weekly at 7:00pm this Wednesday. The Active Network Registration Link will be provided in the Eagle Weekly and on Canvas Announcements. First-come, first-served.
Applications are now being accepted for our 9th – 12th Grade R.E.A.C.H. Week International Mission Trips. This is an amazing chance to live out our theme of GO by serving others around the world and sharing the gospel and the gift of clean water to those in need!
In Sports Today…
We have our Men’s Varsity Golf team playing in the FHSAA District Championship at Champion’s Club in Summerfield!
Varsity Swimming will also be competing in the FHSAA Regional Championship at Indian River State College.
