JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Cody Spear is a member of Jupiter Christian’s 2024 Varsity Golf team. Cody is a senior this year and has been playing high school golf for JCS for two years.
When Cody was asked about how his Senior season went he said, “It was amazing, loved the teammates… it was a great team to have for the senior year.” Cody was grateful for his opportunity to be able to play high school golf because he was able to make a lot of friendships and he had a lot of fun doing it. Cody said this about the memories he made playing high school golf, “I met a lot of amazing teammates and honestly just loved everything about it.”
Cody was able to have a great senior season and had an amazing senior night at Turtle Creek. When he was asked about the environment of the Senior Night match he said, “It was amazing, a lot of fans there. I loved that a couple parents decorated some carts. I feel like the environment was popping that day.” Cody said that he could feel the weight on his shoulders knowing that senior night was his last high school match, but he said that he was able to go out there and have fun one last time. Regarding his performance on Senior Night Cody shared, “I performed not so good at the start but I overcame my fears. I pushed through, and I played the second half of the match amazing.” Cody and his team were able to get their first win of the season and Cody thought that it was a great experience.
Cody was honored at the JCS Football game a few days after Senior Night. When Cody was asked about what it felt like to be honored on Senior Night he said, “It was a skyrocket of emotions – happy, excited, scared, nervous. I was very happy though that I was able to be honored at such a high level at my school.” Cody has made many great memories and friends throughout his golfing career at JCS and thanks Coach Silvestri for the opportunities that he was given.
