JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – In the month of April, students took over chapel and shared their stories about their relationships with God.
Audrey Hessel-Poiriez is an 11th grade student who recently shared her thoughts on her relationship with God and how she was chosen to share her story. Audrey believes that God has a plan for everyone and that she was chosen to share her story to help others.
Growing up, Audrey’s family was very religious, and she attended church regularly. However, it wasn’t until she was a teenager that she truly began to develop her own relationship with God.
“During my freshman year of high school, I was going through a difficult time,” Audrey said. “I felt lost and alone, and I didn’t know who to turn to. That’s when I started to pray and read the Bible more. I found comfort in God’s words, and I felt like He was guiding me through my struggles.”
Since then, Audrey has continued to strengthen her relationship with God, and she says that her faith has helped her through many difficult times.
“Growing your relationship with Christ is a process that takes time and effort,” Audrey said. “It’s important to pray regularly and spend time reading the Bible to learn more about God’s teachings and how to apply them to your life.”
She also emphasized the importance of finding a supportive community to help you grow in your faith, saying, “It can be helpful to find a church or youth group where you can connect with other believers and learn from one another. Having a community of people who share your faith can be a great source of encouragement and support.”
Audrey also shared how her faith has impacted her relationships with others. “I try to treat everyone with kindness and respect, just like God would want me to. I believe that we are all God’s children, and we should love and support one another.”
Overall, Audrey’s message was one of hope and inspiration, reminding us of the power of faith and the importance of treating others with love and respect. Her story serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, we can find light and hope through our faith in Christ.
