JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Eva Clark and her family, which consists of herself, her parents, and her sister, (and I’m sure most people would consider her dogs,) are completely dedicated to JCS.
Eva has been here for eight complete years and is now on her ninth, and her younger sister Annie has been here almost as long. Eva has been here to watch multiple changes that have happened at this school, such as the opening of the East Campus, South Campus, and North Campus, and the promotion of our Middle School Houses, Agape, Humilitas, Justelion, and Veritas. Eva can be considered an expert when needing directions around the school, or questions that you would never know the answer to without being here as long as she has.
Eva believes the best thing about JCS is the community that we offer as a school. JCS is working as hard as possible to get everyone into a community with people they can trust. To bring community, we offer clubs and teams, such as our Lego League and our Worship team. Eva said that “In the past, I have done lots of art clubs and science clubs.” JCS also has community mornings for parents where we invite them to come into their child’s chapel and drink coffee.
Even more on the JCS community, Eva said what makes JCS special is “The bonds between the students and the teachers.” Every student can always find someone to confide in here at JCS, whether a teacher or a close friend. Every student should feel as if they have a community in which they belong, and that is what we are trying to do through every change we make.
Another important thing to JCS is that as Eva said, “We pray before every class.” JCS firmly believes in prayer either before or after each class. This is because JCS, as a Christian school believes that God listens to our prayers. These prayers are times where we can lift up everything to God, from our triumphs to our sorrows.
Jupiter Christian is here to strengthen and inspire every student for what they are best at, whether that be singing or science, and inspire the students to become leaders, who may be students today, but could change the world tomorrow.
