KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – The long-awaited NFL playoffs have finally come, and these games are not disappointing. The Wild Card game between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs was hosted by the Chiefs. It was freezing in Missouri, but this did not stop fans from going to support their team. At kickoff, temperatures were at minus four degrees F with a minus twenty degrees F windchill. That made this game the fourth coldest NFL game in history. Social media was flooded with fans getting ready to face the cold and watch some football. Shown were many fans as they put on their layers and prepped for the cold. One of the highlights of the game was when Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes, came off the field with a broken helmet. The helmet did not break because he was hit that hard; it was because of how cold it was. The game ended with the score of 26:7, with the Miami Dolphins getting knocked out of the playoffs. The game also ended with freezing fans, with around fifteen fans being hospitalized for hypothermia.
