JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, FEBRUARY 7, 2024 – Playing Sports in high school is a common opportunity for students all over the nation, but having the opportunity to play at the collegiate level is a dream come true for every athlete.
Daniel Licata has been playing football for many years as a wide receiver for our very own Jupiter Christian Eagles. Daniel has suffered several sports injuries over the past years but has never been stopped. He was selected as Captain of the Varsity Football team this year and led his teammates with dedication.
Licata signed on Wednesday to play for the Southeastern University Fire, a Christian NAIA program located in Lakeland, Florida. The ceremony took place during high school lunch, with an audience of teammates, peers, coaches, and family. Several people spoke, including Coach Baz and Dr. Cohen, congratulating Daniel and encouraging him for the next stage of his football career. After he signed, Daniel took pictures with coaches, family, and his teammates.
As Daniel moves on to college, we look forward to watching him play and congratulate him on his success. We are very thankful for everything he did to lead his teammates.
