JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, FEBRUARY 21, 2024 – Everyone wants to do the best that they can in school, and be recognized for their effort and hard work. The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes students for their work and emphasizes their academic achievements. The NHS Induction Ceremony was held on February 21 at 6pm in the JCS gym.
Several officers who were inducted into NHS last year spoke, highlighting the four main values of the society, those values being scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Mr. Spingler, the NHS advisor also spoke, along with Mr. Wade and Dr. Cohen.
Leading up to the induction, several students seemed nervous, especially when we actually started and received our certificates and membership cards. After prayer, the inductees recited the Oath to uphold the National Honor Society’s standards.
As a new inductee myself, I am excited to see what the NHS has to offer.
