WARSAW, POLAND – Through the many different types of architecture and landscapes across Europe, Poland has many historical and unique landmarks.
To this day, much of Poland’s historic architecture can still be found all throughout the cities. One of which is Malbork Castle, the largest castle in the world, covering over 51 acres of land.
It was built around 1300 and contains some of Poland’s richest medieval history. This type of architecture can also be seen in places such as the Old Town in Warsaw, which features many old, preserved buildings.
The town was destroyed during World War II but rebuilt soon after, unlike the many other damaged buildings from the war still standing in Warsaw. These unique landmarks and preserved architecture take people back to the past and allow them to experience the culture that has been preserved through hundreds of years of rich history.
