SANDHILL CRANE GOLF COURSE – Charles Sebrict plays for the Jupiter Christian JV Golf team.

Charles felt he did good at tryouts and is very glad that he made the team. Charles hopes to do good throughout the season and is looking forward to it. Charles says his favorite player, “…would have to be Caden Ingebretsin.” Charles says Caden is his favorite player because they have been friends for a while and have come a long way in their golf journey together to make the team. Charles and his team’s first game was against The King’s Academy on September 3. Charles said that that he hopes his team will do very good and he hopes that they will win.

Charles has been playing golf for a couple of years but he says that it hasn’t been very consistent. He says that he played a great deal when he was little but just lost interest in the game but now he thinks it is his favorite sport and is very excited to play. Charles likes playing golf because it teaches him how to be patient and how when you hit one bad shot you need to be patient because if you get angry you will do bad on your next shot. So you always have to be patient and happy on the golf course. Charles played golf around once a week before making the school team but now he plays about three times a week with the team.

Charles has set goals for himself to make improvements thought his golf season. He said that he wants to be able to hit his clubs farther and more consistent throughout the season. He also says he wants to get better scores on the golf course and just improve the basic things he needs to work on. Charles said that his favorite golf memory is when he chipped it in for his first ever chip in. Charles hopes his team and him do we’ll throughout the golf season and he is looking forward to the upcoming games he has.
