JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Massimo Muscari shared his experience working for the coffee cart at Jupiter Christian School and his thoughts about it.
Massimo was first asked what the most popular item sold at the coffee cart is and he said, “I would say the most popular item we sell is the coffee but in specific it would be the latte with the whip cream.” Massimo was then asked what his main responsibilities are at the coffee cart and he replied, “My main responsibilities are to make whatever the customer orders and to look presentable and act as professional as possible.”
Massimo was then asked how he builds relationships with his customers. He said, “You have to act very polite to them and have to have good service so they are more likely to come back in the future and make more money for the school.” When Massimo was asked how working for the coffee cart fit into his daily routine, he said, “It does not really fit into my old routine. It made me make a new routine because I have to now wake up earlier and get ready in the morning earlier than I used to.”
Massimo was asked what recommendations he has for new customers and people that do not know what to get and he said, “I would recommend for people to get the pumpkin spice latte because that is my favorite thing on the menu but I also recommend trying something new every time you come to the coffee cart so you can find what you like.” Massimo was then asked when the coffee cart is open and he said, “There are three times where it is open and that is during the mornings, during lunch, and after school but it is different depending if it is a block schedule or a normal schedule day.” Massimo was asked what his favorite part of working at the coffee cart is and he said, “My favorite part is that I get free coffee after I am done working.”
The interview concluded with Massimo being asked what he thinks the coffee cart contributes to the school community. He said, “It is good for the people running the coffee cart because it helps them understand business and it provides the school community with something that they want.”
