JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – This year’s High School SGA is working hard to benefit the school in the most ways they can. With Christmas coming around the corner, they are figuring out multiple ways to spread Christmas cheer before the break. They are working together to find new creative ways to engage with their classes and gain support for more events in the future.
The teacher in charge of running JCS High School’s SGA is Mr. Richardson. He has worked hard this year along with his students to shine their light for their community. He has opened many more opportunities for his students. Sophomore Brie Mestrovich who has previously been on SGA and is currently in it said, “This year is already different than last year, and I can’t wait for the more exciting things to come.” She is hoping to do many exciting things during the rest of this school year and in years to come, starting with the Christmas season.
Many of the students this Christmas season are trying to come up with ways to spread Christmas cheer. One example of a hardworking student involved in SGA is the sophomore class representative Mackenzie Kendall. She and her fellow members of SGA came up with the idea to hide an elf around campus for the high school classes to look for during this holiday season. She said, “All of us in SGA have been working hard to come up with exciting things for the holiday season, and I’m excited to start!”
The 2024-2025 High School SGA is composed of many students from each grade, all willing to give their time and help shine their lights for their classes and JCS community. All these students have worked hard to use their creativity and make the school year as fun as they can. They were all voted for by their peers and are determined to be good representatives of their classes, and the school in general.
Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
