JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Christmas is a time to spend precious moments with your family and all come together. It’s about the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Sophie Russell was interviewed about Christmas and her favorite traditions with her family!
To start off, Sophie was asked what her favourite Christmas movies are and she said Home Alone. She thinks it’s a very fun movie and she’s been watching it every Christmas since she was little. Her favorite Christmas song is Last Christmas and it makes her really feel in the Christmas spirit! Sophie was then asked what her favorite Christmas tradition is and she said, “My favorite Christmas tradition is me and my sister opening each other’s gifts on Christmas Eve.”
During Christmas there are very delicious foods and little snacks people love to eat. Sophie was asked what her favorite Christmas snack was and she said, “My favorite Christmas snack is gingerbread cookies. They taste so good and are so cute.” Christmas is also a time to make Wonderful memories with your family. Sophie’s best memory with her family is her, her mom, and her sister going to look at the beautiful Christmas lights that people decorate their houses with!
Christmas is also a time where you can receive gifts from the people that care about and love you! Sophie loves to wrap gifts rather than put them in gift bags because with wrapping its more fun and she also thinks it’s fun to unwrap gifts instead of just taking them out of bags. Sophie was asked what she does on Christmas Eve and she said, “On Christmas Eve we go to my Grandma’s house, eat dinner, then open our gifts from her.” For Christmas this year, Sophie wants jewellery and the best gift she’s ever received is a vanity.
In conclusion, Christmas is a great time to have with family, and it is an amazing chance to spread joy to the people around you!
