JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Student Cameron Berberian was a new addition to 7th grade at Jupiter Christian at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. I had the pleasure of talking to Cam about how he’s liking Jupiter Christian so far.
Even though we’re only half way through the school year, it’s safe to say that Jupiter Christian has made a good impression on Cam. Cam is coming all the way from Massachusetts and said, that what made him decide to come to JCS is that “It’s a Christian School.” Cam believes that since coming to JCS his relationship with Christ has gotten stronger. He also thinks his academics have been better and stronger since arriving at JCS.
Being a Christian school may be why Cam came to JCS, but there are many other elements to our school that Cam loves too. Cam states, “My favorite thing about Jupiter Christian would probably be my friends.” Although he mentioned making new friends was one of the major adjustments he had to face when coming to JCS, he ended up making a lot of friends, one of his best ones being Banyan Boggess.
Cam also said, “One thing Jupiter Christian has that my old school didn’t is sports. My old school only offered basketball, and I didn’t play because I don’t like basketball.” Cam also made the point, “I like the late start and block scheduling on Wednesday and Thursday better because I can sleep in later.”
All this to show during the short amount of time Cam has been at JCS he has been impacted. Between the JCS community welcoming him and impacting his relationship with Jesus for the better, it seems that Cam has found where he belongs at JCS.
