JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Recently, Kaya Price and Grace Avonda founded the first ever Environmental Club at Jupiter Christian School.
They started this club because they knew there needed to be a change in the school’s community. They noticed that our Jupiter Christian campus does not have any recycling bins and wanted to change that. Hopefully, this club will impact not only the school but also students.
“I hope that this club will make a difference someday,” says Grace Avonda.
We should take responsibility for maintaining biodiversity that maintains our soil, cleans our air, keeps our water clean, controls the climate, recycles nutrients, and grows our food. They provide essential resources and raw materials for pharmaceuticals and other purposes. The environment is crucial to both healthy living and the preservation of life on Earth. Countless living species call Earth their home, and we all rely on it for things like food, air, and water. Hence, it is crucial for each person to preserve and safeguard our ecosystem.
The difference this club is going to make is that the students will hopefully learn about recycling and be more aware of the impact plastic truly has on our environment. This club will optimistically change the future of the school and the way they view the impact of plastic.
Some of the reasons why you should join include helping save the environment, learning about the impact of plastics and recycling, and the many community service options.
“The environment is in need of our help,” says Grace Avonda. Grace and Kaya think that this club will impact the school community because recycling is a positive thing which helps our environment. In the process of helping the Earth, you can also have fun doing it.
