JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – There are lots of students at JCS who volunteer. Some of them give up their free time on the weekends to volunteer. From animal shelters to beach cleanups, there are a variety of places you can volunteer at.
Rowan Kukreja is a 7th grader at JCS who volunteers at her brother’s karate classes. She does it with Bella Davenport who is also a 7th grader at Jupiter Christian. She says her best part about volunteering is teaching the little kids karate. Rowan enjoys volunteering because she likes helping people. She says the coolest thing she has learned while volunteering is, “All people are different.” Rowan likes volunteering and loves helping younger children learn karate.
Eva Clark is a 7th grader at Jupiter Christian who volunteers at animal shelters. Eva volunteers every 3 months with her sister Annie. She loves taking care of the animals and playing with them. The animal shelter Eva volunteers at is Furry Friends. She helps with the cats and enjoys playing with them. Eva says, “I like to volunteer because the cats are cool, and I don’t see them very often.”
Lastly, Livia Dunagan is a 7th grader at JCS who volunteers with her mom. She volunteers one weekend every month. She says, “The best part of volunteering is helping people out and being hands-on.” She most often volunteers at White Trail Farm, which is also her favorite place. She volunteers at many places including beach cleanups, White Trail Farm, and Furry Friends. Furry Friends is an animal shelter where Livia helps with the cats. At White Trail Farm, there are lots of animals to play with. Lots of events happen there like weddings and holiday events.
Lots of people at Jupiter Christian School volunteer because they enjoy it. Volunteering for the community is what Jesus asks us to do. Livia, Eva, and Rowan donate their time to help others. They set the example, and you should too!
