MIAMI, FLORIDA — Among the many tennis championships around the world, the Miami Open is known for its intense matches and unexpected results.
Taking place in the Hard Rock Stadium, this year’s Miami Open had everyone excited and on the edge of their seats as during the semifinals Janik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev were playing for a spot in the finals. But as the match went on, people started to get disappointed with Medvedev’s performance as he became outmatched by Sinner and started losing points very quickly.
The match was soon over, with Sinner winning both sets, making it very short, only lasting around an hour and 13 minutes. Many Medvedev fans expected to see him hold up a bit better and were disappointed with his serves and ability to move around the court.
Nonetheless, the Miami Open is a fantastic opportunity to go and see these athletes play in real life, experiencing the atmosphere of the stadium.
