JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – The very first game of the Varsity Football season wasn’t the strongest, the team spirit always is.
With the statement game coming up against Oxbridge showing school spirit just like the team did is very important. With an already amazing team, the only way to get even better is with team spirit and support. No matter how much time is spent practicing, showing support plays a big part in the minds of the players. With the hopes of making it to the State Championship this year, Senior Manuel Villar says the biggest factors would be practice, the little things, and all the support from each other.
Manny says the best way he could support and encourage his team is by being a leader, being encouraging and vocal. Bringing the energy up and out, hyping the team, bringing out the best of the team, and going at full capacity are things Manny is known for. But what about what the community can do for the team? When asked this question Manny answered, with “Show up for your team dressing in the theme and being loud helps to hype up the team and atmosphere.” Players like Joshua Bloomfield and Gavin Baldwin get energetic and encouraged when they see the JCS community hyping the team up. Showing your support to the players makes them feel supported by their community.
By showing your support you bring the JCS family closer together and encourage the team. Your football team works very hard to bring home wins and be the best they can be. Encourage them to keep being the best, and encourage those around you. Come to the next football game and show your support! Dress in your all American clothes, bring out your school spirit. Join us this Thursday the 5th at Jupiter High School and support our fantastic team!
