Summer Dickerson

Summer Dickerson, MS Yearbook Staff

Summer Ann Dickerson has been a student at JCS pursing her education here since she was in kindergarten. Her friends tend to call her The Basher and Brutus the Indifferent and the Master Meower. Summer is hopefully soon to graduate in 2030, to get a PhD and become a physiologist. Summer is interested in science and space. Some of her favorite subjects would be art, science and English. Even though she’s quite interested into science, she also enjoys writing down her thoughts in her free time.

During Summer’s summer camp she truly found what she liked to do and it was art. Summer loves to draw and tends to doodle in her free time. During her drawing sessions, she would usually find herself lost in her thoughts. Some of her favorite things to draw are landscapes and doodles. A quote from Summer is, “Drawing often helps me focus on whatever I am doing.”

Something that has helped her get through hard times is her faith. She often will remember that God has a plan for her and to always trust the Lord. Whenever she feels like her life has gone down a bad path she’ll often pray to him. Sometimes while journaling she tends to think about Christ.
