JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – August 26, 2022, The Jupiter Christian Varsity Football team faced off against The St. Edward’s School.

The game took place at The St. Edward’s School’s field, and it was a blowout. Jupiter Christian won 53 to 7 – walking away with an amazing performance and win.

Gideon Douglas, one of many star players on the team, had a lot to say about the game. From his perspective, “The win against St. Edward’s felt amazing, not only for me but for the whole entire team. It really gave us momentum heading into the rest of the season.” His thoughts on their opponents were that, “The other team was not at all intimidating; in fact, we beat them badly.” This shows how confident Gideon and his teammates were during the game.

To go into more depth about the game, it was described that there were no badly performed plays on the JCS side, and the only thing the team did wrong was that the opponent’s offense passed the fifty-yard line. For that being the only recommendation from the coaches, you can tell how impressive their performance was. Not many of the players were nervous throughout the game, keeping a steady lead and a focused mindset.

To conclude, the first win for Jupiter Christian sets a high standard for the team and the rest of their season. We hope that every game turns out like this one.
