ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS – This spring break, my family and I took a trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas.
This trip was an extremely action packed trip. Each day was a set of new journeys and adventures. Our travel days, Monday and Friday, were chaos in the Miami and Eleuthera airports. Luckily, we arrived safely for both flights. During our vacation days, we did many excursions. Our first day, my family piled into a small van to go to “Surfers Beach,” which was pretty cool. Unfortunately, the van would not start when we were going to leave! With enough tweaking, we got it to start again. After that, went to a place called “Sapphire Hole” to jump into bright blue water. On our way to dinner, we found a cave to explore, then ended our day by going to eat.
Our next day was another busy day. We went to tide pools called “The Queen’s Bath,” and ate lunch there. We journeyed over to a pretty beach access to swim in the crystal blue water, grabbing ice cream on our way back. While on our way to dinner, we hit a large pothole on the side of the road, popping two tires. We got those tires replaced and ended our day with a nice a dinner on the beach. On our final day, we boarded a boat to explore surrounding islands and adventures. During this boat tour, we fed sting rays squid, swung on swings in the water, and my favorite, hung out with pigs on the beach. The pigs were adorable and so fun. That sums up my trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas this spring break; I hope I am able to go back in the near future!
