In the previous History Corner we learned that JCS started in 1963 with 15 students. After three-and-a-half years of classes at the First Southern Methodist Church, JCS outgrew the church facility and moved to what we call the West Campus. Classes began on the West Campus on January 2, 1967. JCS again quickly outgrew the original 8-classroom building and, by 1970, six more classrooms were added.
