Good Morning JCS!
This is the last Tuesday episode of The Morning Show for this school year! We hope everyone has an amazing summer!
Faculty and Staff appreciation week continues today! Please take some time to thank your teachers and our hardworking staff members for everything they do for our school.
AP Testing begins today. Please be extra quiet in the halls during these important assessments. If you are scheduled to take a test, please make sure you are on time and prepared.
Tomorrow is our yearbook dedication ceremony at 11:30. Our recipients this year are very special and have strong connections to both our Junior and Senior classes. We encourage all students, including AP students, to attend this important ceremony. It will mean a great deal to our recipients.
Freshmen Serve Day is this Friday. Please see Mr. Richardson with any questions.
In Sports Today…
Varsity Cheer tryouts continue today from 3:30 to 5:00 in the ATC.
Shoutouts!
Our Student of the Day is Dominic Portuese. Dom is a courageous member of our junior class whose heart for the Lord is undeniable. You encouraged many with your bold testimony last week, Dom, and we are blessed to have you at our school. We hope you have an incredible day!
Our Employee of the Day is Mr. Winters. Mr. Winters has been caring for our school for 12 years now. He has served as our dean, and in leadership on both our Security and Facilities teams. He is a vital part of JCS, and our school would not be the same without him. When asked what word best describes him, one faculty member shared simply, “Love.” We could not agree more. Have a blessed day, Mr. Winters.
Have a great day, JCS!
