Good Morning JCS!

Next Wednesday, May 6 is our 2026 Yearbook Dedication Ceremony. All students, including seniors, should plan to attend this very special ceremony at 11:30 that day followed by our Spring Pep Rally and Powderpuff Volleyball game. Senior Yearbooks will be available after the ceremony. All other yearbooks will be available beginning Monday, May 11.
Applications are open for the JCS Community Mission Trip to El Salvador. This trip is open to the entire JCS family – students, teachers, family, and more. A link to the application is in the Eagle Weekly and you can contact Mrs. Carley with any questions. We hope you will join us on this life-changing mission trip. The deadline to apply is this Friday, May 1.
We are excited to launch our Quarter 4 Love Your Neighbor event with ministry partner Go. Build. Love. – a ministry dedicated to bringing clean, life-changing water to communities in need while also sharing the hope of the Gospel. From April 20 to May 1 JCS students will be given a water bottle to fill with coins, cash, or check donations. Let’s rally together to support this important ministry.
In Sports…
There are no athletic competitions today. We look forward to seeing our Eagle’s back in action soon.
Varsity Cheer Clinics continue today and run through this Thursday, April 30. They will take place from 3:30 to 5:00 in the ATC.
Congrats to the baseball team for defeating St. Edwards 11-7 in the Region Quarter-final Saturday. The Eagles will now face off with Brito HS this weekend in the Region Semifinal 3-game series.
