JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – Our Middle School Chapel is amazing! Four things in chapel that we have are an amazing sermon led by Pastor Bill, chapel games we play right before the message, our amazing AV club which does the background work and last but not least is worshiping our God. Let’s start by talking about Pastor Bill’s sermon.

Most of his sermons are about Bible stories that go into depth. Pastor Bill also uses personal stories that all connect with his sermons. He has some really entertaining sermons that he talks about like David and Goliath. Pastor Bill’s words are really inspiring no matter what he is talking about. He is not just making you sit in chapel for no reason, but to go out of chapel and speak the gospel to people who do not know God.

Now let’s talk about the fun games at chapel everyone wants to participate in. Games at chapel help people grow closer to each other in a fun way. Harrison Barr states that, “Chapel games help me grow closer to God while having a good time. My favorite game is knockout basketball.” Playing games before chapel makes kids look forward to getting picked to play in the games because everyone will always have a good time. Chapel games are not just for having fun or growing closer to God but about building a community of believers of the Gospel, the Holy Spirit, and God all here at JCS. 

Now let’s talk about one of the biggest reasons this all happens – our amazing AV club. They are in charge of controlling all the screens which we use all chapel long. From Bible verses, videos, information slides if – we did not have are amazing AV club this would not be happening. Austin Burnet, who normally controls the screens for chapel, states that his “favorite part of it is being able to help out.” Also, that Pastor Bill influenced him and other people working behind the equipment. 

Last but not least, is most people’s favorite part of chapel – worshiping. The worshiping is just so meaningful for all of the middle school students. The songs and singers that sing are just so good at what they do. When we all are just worshiping in chapel, it just hits somewhere different. Another reason it is so good is because we are worshiping the true God. Also there are just so many more reasons why worshiping is so good. 

Those are just some of the amazing things that we do at chapel. The amazing sermon by Pastor Bill, all the games we play and the great behind the scenes AV club which brings it all to get there but worshiping is the true best part of chapel. That is why middle school chapel at JCS is the best.
