JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, October 25, 2023 – The head coach of Jupiter Christian’s Women’s Varsity Volleyball team, Coach Sarah Mize, shares her insights about Jupiter Christian School. Coach Sarah has coached at Jupiter Christian for five seasons now and has made such an impact on the Volleyball program.

When Coach Sarah was asked what makes it special to coach at JCS, she responded with the people. “It is a different culture. Also, it is just an opportunity to connect with high school students and hear their hearts and seeing this upcoming generation in a way I have never been able to before.”

“I remember that every time I played on a team, I took pride in the name that was on my jersey.” One thing that Coach Sarah wants to pass on to her team is to have that pride in the JCS name on their jersey.

“Jupiter Christian is special because we do so many things differently than other schools. We look at the athlete as a whole and the individual as a whole. It is not just performance based. It is about developing spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and I think that is very special.” Coach Sarah believes that we all need to take pride in the Jupiter Christian name and how much time and effort is poured into all these programs. “This will set us apart and I think that the school as a whole just needs to take more pride in what we stand for and the name on our back.”

Coach Sarah has led a remarkably successful Women’s Volleyball team, that as of this season, has won back-to-back District Championships against rival Lake Worth Christian. This is the first time the Women’s Volleyball team has done so.
