JUPITER, FlORIDA – Valentine’s Day, even though it is cute, barely makes the top five best holidays.
Valentine’s Day, a day for love and friendship, is a sweet holiday. But I believe that Valentine’s Day does not make the top five best holidays. As many will agree, Christmas has to be the number 1 holiday. Then I believe that second should be the 4th of July. I know that is debatable, given that Halloween is a pretty close tie. But the 4th of July is more fun. Then comes Easter, followed by Thanksgiving, and even New Years. Now the top five list is full. Valentine’s Day is quite boring in my opinion. There are no big gifts, fireworks, buckets of candy, or family reunions. It is just a day for spending time with a loved one, which should be happening year round. I feel like Valentine’s Day is often forgotten, and gets lost in the mix of great holidays.
