Good Morning JCS!
It’s Spring Signing Day! Please see your teachers for the precise time, but it is currently scheduled at 11:00.
Chapel will be held today at 12:09. Please bring your chapel notebooks and Bibles and be ready for a chance to worship and focus on God’s word.
REACH Week is fast approaching. If you have any outstanding permission forms or waivers, please get them to your leaders as soon as possible.
Get those racing shoes ready! The 3K for Childhood Cancer is this Saturday, February 7 at 8:00 here at JCS. This event is being hosted by our senior prefects and is an amazing cause. Please sign-up to participate via the link on Canvas and see Cayden Alula with any questions.
Talent Show Auditions close next Wednesday, February 11. Thank you to all who have submitted so far, but there is still plenty of room for more people to showcase their talents. Submit your 1–2-minute audition video using the link on Canvas and be sure it is school-appropriate and clearly recorded.
SGA is selling candy grams and passing them out on February 12th! Please see the full announcement on Canvas and the flyers around campus for complete ordering details.
The Morning Show will conclude for the quarter on Wednesday, February 18 two weeks from today with our 200th Episode. We will be doing intercom announcements for the rest of the quarter after that and will return with new episodes on March 30.
In sports tomorrow, we have a packed night of away games.
Varsity Tennis will be opening the evening at 3:30 vs Oxbridge academy.
Men’s Varsity Baseball will also be AWAY vs. King’s at 6:00.
Finally, our Varsity Men’s Basketball team has their FHSAA District Semifinal tonight.
We look forward to a great night of competition!
Today’s student of the day is Hallie Brams.
Hallie, for years you have made JCS an amazing place to be. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and your skill on the basketball court is great! We pray the Lord will continue to lead you and guide you, Hallie. Have an amazing day!
Today’s Employee of the Day is Caroline Dobutovich.
Mrs. D., you truly help keep our school moving forward. From all your hard work in the office to the times you have spoken to us at chapel to all the stuff happening behind the scenes that we do not even know about, you have proven to be such a gift to our school. We are very grateful for you Mrs. D. Have a great day!
Have an amazing day, JCS!
