Today is our all-school Christmas chapel! Join us at 9:00 am for a festive time celebrating the birth of our Savior and Lord. Please see your teachers for today’s modified schedule.
Christmas Spirit Week begins today! The themes are:
- Friday, December 12 – Tropical Christmas
- Monday, December 15 – Christmas Movie Monday
- Tuesday, December 16 – Trim the Tree Tuesday – Wear red, green, and Christmas lights.
- Wednesday, December 17 – Santa’s Workshop Wednesday
- Thursday, December 18 – T’was the Night Thursday – wear your favorite Christmas pjs.
- Friday, December 19 – Flannel Frenzy – Wear your favorite flannel
Semester Exams begin next Tuesday, December 16. Please see your teachers for any study guides and be sure you are prepared for these important assessments.
The next yearbook price increase will occur on Saturday December 20, 2025. If you have not ordered already, please do so by then to avoid this price increase. Online sales will close in late January.
In Sports Today…
Men’s Varsity Wrestling will be participating in a tournament at SANTALUCES COMMUNITY HIGH. This tournament will continue through the weekend.
At 4:00 p.m., Men’s Varsity Soccer will host Atlantic Christian Academy in a game here at HOME.
At the same time Women’s Varsity Soccer will be traveling to Lincoln Park Academy for a matchup.
We look forward to a weekend of fierce competition!
Senior Shoutouts continue! Today’s seniors are Leilani Ramos and Ashley Ramsey
Leilani, in just 3 years at JCS, you’ve inspired others to be bold in their faith and work hard. From your passion for serving, competing, and learning, you’re ready to head to Western Carolina University to pursue physical therapy or business and maybe even open an athletic center. Your advice to underclassmen—“Spend time in the big 3: Scripture, worship, and prayer”—is a perfect reminder to root your identity in Christ. Keep leading and serving, Leilani!
Ashley, after 7 years at JCS, you’ve inspired younger generations, led by example, and always been ready to help anyone in need. From your unforgettable Disney Springs tea run to favorite moments with Mrs. Carman and Mrs. Tibbs, you’ve made high school memorable. As you head out to serve as a medical missionary, hold on to Psalm 73:26—God will sustain you through it all. Keep shining, Ashley!
