Who is our school’s favorite teacher?

Who+is+our+school%E2%80%99s+favorite+teacher%3F

JUPITER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – JCS has many great teachers and classes but a few stand out and are considered to be favorites among the students for many reasons.  Among the 80 middle school students that I asked, there were a few teachers and classes that seemed to always make it to the top of the list based on the teacher’s personality, the subject of the class, and the homework.  Although every teacher is equally important and appreciated at JCS, there was a definite consensus and connection between the students I asked with three specific teachers and their specific classes.

The first and most favorite teacher is Coach Baz who teaches PE.  The student’s all agreed that Coach Baz has a great personality and that PE is fun and requires no homework.  It’s a class where everyone doesn’t have to stress out over tests and can just play sports and get their energy out.  Everyone learns sportsmanship and healthy competition which is important to the majority of JCS students.

The next vote was for Mr. Petree.  He is definitely a crowd favorite among the 6th graders.  Most of the students mentioned that he makes their work fun, and he is kind and understanding.  They all agreed that he always makes their lessons interesting, and they learn a lot but also have fun so everyone participates.

Ms.  Banas was next.  JCS students seem to really enjoy Art and the lessons they learn from Ms. Banas. They mentioned working with different mediums and learning about different artists.  They also liked having a creative outlet and no homework and agreed that her class was fun.

Although JCS has many wonderful teachers and classes, these three are standouts and have really made an impact on the majority of the JCS Middle School students that I interviewed.
